Bitch: Feminist Response to Pop Culture "is a groundbreaking national magazine of feminism and pop culture critique that since 1996 has informed, challenged, and entertained generations of supporters." As a non-profit they rely on continued support from the public and also put on great events such as this, the sm[art] Art show and silent auction.
The event is scheduled to take place October 20th at the Ace Hotel in Portland ( visit www.acehotel.com and click on Portland). The evening will kick off at 7pm and will be hosted by Marie Fleischmann. Some of the contributing artists include Hannah Stouffer, Eva Lake, Shannon Wheeler, Amy Ruppel, Nikki McClure, the Guerilla Girls, Aya Kakeda and myself to name a few.
